Terms and Conditions for Teft Logistics LLC

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the transportation services ("Services") provided by Teft Logistics LLC ("Teft Logistics," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

Teft Logistics provides transportation and delivery services for goods and valuables within the United States. We transport items on behalf of individuals, businesses, and organizations based on the terms outlined in our Service Agreement.

2. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

Provide Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when booking services, including item descriptions, pickup and delivery details, and contact information.
Packing and Labeling: You are responsible for ensuring that all goods are properly packed and labeled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Teft Logistics is not liable for damage caused by improper packing or labeling.
Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including regulations related to the transportation of hazardous, restricted, or illegal items.
Payment: You agree to pay all fees associated with our services in a timely manner. Payment must be made according to the terms provided in the invoice.

3. Booking and Delivery

Booking Process: To request services, you must provide accurate details of the goods being transported, including dimensions, weight, and value. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Teft Logistics.
Delivery: Teft Logistics will make reasonable efforts to meet the estimated delivery dates; however, we do not guarantee delivery times, and delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including weather, traffic, or mechanical issues.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing: Prices for our services are based on factors such as the size, weight, and value of the goods, as well as the distance to be traveled. You will receive a quote prior to booking, and final pricing will be confirmed based on actual measurements and details provided.
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of booking, or as otherwise specified in your invoice. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers.
Late Payments: If payment is not received by the due date, Teft Logistics reserves the right to suspend or cancel the services, and additional fees may apply.

5. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability: Teft Logistics is not liable for any damage, loss, or delay in the transportation of goods unless such damage is caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. In no event shall Teft Logistics be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Insurance: Customers are responsible for insuring their goods against damage, theft, or loss during transit. Teft Logistics may offer insurance options, but it is the responsibility of the Customer to determine the adequacy of insurance coverage.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being transported by Teft Logistics:

Hazardous materials, including chemicals, explosives, and flammable goods
Illegally restricted or controlled items
Perishable goods, unless otherwise agreed upon
Livestock or animals
Any items that are illegal under U.S. law

If we discover that prohibited items are being transported, we reserve the right to refuse service and, where applicable, notify authorities.

7. Damage or Loss Claims

If your goods are damaged or lost during transport, you must notify Teft Logistics immediately upon delivery or within [insert number of days, e.g., 7 days] of receiving the shipment. To file a claim, you may be required to provide:

Proof of damage or loss
A description of the goods being transported
Evidence of the item’s value

Teft Logistics will investigate and process the claim in accordance with our insurance and liability policies.

8. Force Majeure

Teft Logistics is not responsible for delays or failures to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes, earthquakes, floods)
Labor strikes or disputes
War, terrorism, or civil unrest
Mechanical failures or breakdowns
Governmental regulations, actions, or orders

In the event of a force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any delays or disruptions.

9. Termination of Services

Teft Logistics reserves the right to terminate or suspend services if you breach any of these Terms and Conditions, if payment is not received, or if there is any risk of illegal or prohibited activity associated with the goods being transported.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Teft Logistics harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

Your breach of these Terms and Conditions
Any illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items being transported
Any misrepresentation or inaccurate information provided during the booking process

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Teft Logistics is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in that jurisdiction.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to this Agreement or the services provided by Teft Logistics shall first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to resolve the dispute through mediation or binding arbitration, as agreed upon.

13. Amendments

Teft Logistics reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or provided to you directly. Continued use of our services after such modifications will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
